The Cardinal Kids Palliative Care Program is a program created by Carolina Caring for children between birth and young adult who are suffering from a serious illness. Carolina Caring’s Cardinal Kids Palliative Care Program was recently able to expand to cover 4 additional counties. Cardinal Kids clinicians work closely with the child, physicians and the child’s family to manage and treat some of the physical symptoms caused by their illnesses. The JEM Project is thrilled to be able to support this incredible organization!

Emi, Matthew, and their mother, Kerry are as overjoyed as we are that our Cardinal Kids program can now expand to 4 more counties thanks to the generous $50,000 grant awarded by The JEM Project. Cardinal Kids was created to help children and their families navigate challenges that arise when a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness or condition. Thank you, The JEM Project, for making it possible for Carolina Caring to walk beside our Cardinal Kids and their families, making the most of the short and precious lives we are priveleged to partner with.
